Over the last few years Acharavi has expanded greatly, but its size hasn't at all detracted from its relaxing, welcoming atmosphere.  By day the sizeable sandy/shingle beach may be the place to be, but in the evening most of Acharavi's nightlife is to be found in the village centre 300m inland.  Or why not stroll westwards along the beach as the sun sets, into neighbouring Roda, a 15/20 minute walk away.  Acharavi is very family-friendly and also well-suited to couples and anyone seeking a peaceful, relaxing holiday.
